Long time!
For the lapse of time in putting up a new post, I can partially blame my tablet which refused adamantly to get connected to the network. Partially, because nothing spectacular happened in my life for the last month to make its way to the blog. And why am I writing now?
My tablet has resumed normalcy and my health has gone down the drain. Two reasonably good reasons to get back to writing. I don't want to wax eloquent about my illness until I myself discover what exactly went wrong with me. It all started with a terrible throat pain and an insect bite (I assume!) behind my right ear. What seemed a silly red rash went on to become a rather huge rash on my neck. It eventually spread its way around my neck, chest, hands, legs and didn't even leave my face alone. It's not as serious as it sounds , but still I got scared and really thought I was going to die!!! Each day I would wake up with something new to add on to the previous ailment. Numbness, inflammation a, reddness and itching. I was surprised to see raised eyebrows and sympathetic glances that came my way. But this illness taught me something. That we take health for granted quite a lot. It's only when you fall sick you realise how much you could do with your time!!!
So after each illness I take resolutions( quite similar to the new-year ones) that I would utilise my time well and good and make it as much productive as it can be.
Get well soon Jerene!
