Lessons from special ones
We are surrounded by people of different kinds. To some, we feel attached, some do not gather any feelings from us, some teach us valuable lessons, some pass our notice, while the majority of them, fortunately or unfortunately, doesn't just cross our path!
When I look at people who have crossed my life's path at different stages, very few come to memory. And among those few, I can count three or four people who stand out. So what is it that has made them so special that they bounce out of closed chapters and evoke good memories.
1)They were unique ( not because they had special talents or exceptional ability at some craft. They excelled at the art of being who they were. They were confident. But not pretentious. )
2) They were fearless and spoke their mind. They never cared what the world around them thought of them!
3)They had the courage of conviction. They stuck to their core principles no matter what!
4) They all had big dreams and stars in their eyes.
5) They were honest in their words, action and work. They were sincere and kind to those who trusted them.
6) They never tried to prove anything to the world. Nor did they have greedy cravings.
7) Accolades followed them . But they never reveled in them.
8) They were not afraid of failures. Nor were they hesitant to share their fears or apprehensions.
9) They didn't shy away from lending support to others. In the rush of competition, they never pushed you while jostling for space. Instead they held your hand and made you feel at ease.
10) They never judged you. They didn't make anyone feel small.
I had certain people in my mind while writing down these ten points. I would have loved to name each one of them. But for the moment, let them remain with me.
