It's midnight and the temperature is around 8 degree Celsius. My stomach feels full, still I crave for food. Considering this place ( Haryana) and time ( almost 1 am), I know it is impossible to fulfill my cravings. Therefore I turn to words for consolation.
Words, take me home, to my kitchen where I can rustle up something yummy...
As final solutions, here I post ( of course, from google images!) platefuls of 'i-long-to-have-it' goodies.

Steaming Hot! Anytime, anywhere! |
Paalappam- One of my favourites! Popular especially among Christians in Central Travancore. Eaten best with stew. |
Hot Crispy Vadas- It tickles all my senses. With some coconut chutney to dip into, it takes me beyond heaven! |
Puttu and Kadala curry..I miss You!!! this is called cheratta puttu as the mold used for steaming is coconut shell( notice the shape). A healthy and mouthwatering dish! Can be had with almost anything- from sugar and bananas to mutton or fish curry! ( PS: do not mix sugar and bananas with fish or mutton) |

Idlies, I have already written a blog on you...you remain special, always! |
Kappa (tapioca)... Treat any malayali with Kappa and you will see how it works. Kappa enjoys undiminishing love from all of us alike. |
Paper dosa- A longer version of dosa..when the crispy layers soaked in the different flavours of the chutneys and the hot sambar enter your mouth, you will forget yourself. |
no priorities, any time, in any order :)
